Month 5+6

Back again! It’s been a while. I’ve been on vacation for a few weeks and sadly have been dealing with Covid since getting back, although it’s getting better now.

These blog posts will take on a different form from now on. We’d like to bring you weekly updates on what we are doing, rather than monthly. So much happens in the course of a month and we’d love to keep you up to speed more often!

We’ve been making steady progress on our new project that is referred to as “WTP World” for now. We’ve been brainstorming and discussing how we want to handle building out the levels, characters, what mini-games to work on, and much more.

Our wonderful artist has been hard at work on creating… well… everything! From whiteboxing the lobby area, creating all the tiles we think we might need for the lobby and all the levels in our mini-games and our characters!

Our lobby is also functional now – you can customize your profile name and appearance, equip different clothing, chat and see each other zip around! You can also hop into a minigame from the lobby UI, and back.
